Delete your Lona account

This page starts a deletion request. It works without signing in and without the app installed.

If you only want the payments to stop

Cancelling and deleting are two different things, and most people who land here want the first one. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the conversation and everything she remembers exactly where they are. It lives in your account, under Subscription. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there — a store subscription is not ours to cancel.

Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. If you have one, cancel it first, then come back here. Our billing policy covers refunds and the notice periods that apply where you live.

Request deletion

Write to us from the address on the account. We reply to confirm it is you, and the deletion runs after that. Nothing else is needed — no form to fill in, no call, no reason to give.

Email a deletion request

That opens a message to support@heylona.ai. If your mail app does not open, write to that address yourself with “Delete my Lona account” in the subject line.

Already signed in? You can do it yourself in the app, under Privacy and data — one tap, one confirmation, no request and no waiting for us.

What goes

The conversation, everything she remembers about you, your profile and settings, and the account itself. Not a copy kept aside, not an archive for later.

What deleting does not do

There is no undo and no waiting period

Once it runs it is final. We do not hold the account for a week in case you change your mind, and we do not offer you anything to stay. A holding period would mean your conversation sits on our side for another week after you asked us to erase it, which is the exact thing that brought you to this page. The cost of that choice is real and worth saying plainly: delete by mistake and it is gone.

How long it takes

We answer deletion requests within 10 business days. The clock starts when you confirm the address is yours, because until then we have no way to tell whose account is being deleted. Where you live may give you a longer legal window than that; ours is the shorter number, on purpose.

If you cannot get into the account

Write from any address you can still reach and tell us which address the account uses. Losing access to an account is not a reason to lose the right to delete it, and we will not ask you to sign in first. If anything here goes wrong, support is the same address.

Lona is published by Genio Group, Inc. This is the public deletion path for the Lona app and for Lona on the web.
